LIVS Associates was proud to be course hole sponsor at the 4th Annual Bill Malone FORE Our Schools Golf Tournament on Friday, April 25, 2025, hosted by the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County. On November 29, 2018, LIVS partner Tony Rosabal joined an esteemed panel of industry professionals for the Rising Star Seminar “Getting Substantial Completion” at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Hosted by Peckar & Abramson, P.C., the event brought together leaders from the construction and legal communities to discuss the critical process of achieving substantial completion on major projects. Tony contributed his insights on practical strategies, collaboration, and best practices from a contractor’s perspective, helping attendees navigate one of the most challenging milestones in construction project delivery.
Miami-Dade Animal Services Pet Adoption and Protection Center Grand Opening
In June 2016, Miami-Dade County celebrated the grand opening of the Miami-Dade Animal Services Pet Adoption and Protection Center, located at 3599 N.W. 79 Avenue in Doral. Designed by LIVS Associates, the state-of-the-art facility at 72,000 sq. ft. stands as the largest air-conditioned animal shelter in the country. Featuring an innovative “Adoption Mall” layout, the center was created to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment that encourages pet adoptions.
The new center replaced the county’s aging shelter on NW 74th Street, transforming a former tile warehouse into a modern, humane space dedicated to animal care and community engagement. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, pictured here, brought together dignitaries, county officials, and community members to mark this milestone.
LIVS Architecture proudly joins in celebration the grand opening of the new Broward County Animal Care Facility, a state-of-the-art space designed to support compassion, community, and care. This transformative project reimagines what an animal shelter can be combining functionality with warmth to create an inviting environment for both pets and people.
The facility features open adoption areas, advanced veterinary spaces, and thoughtful design elements that promote natural light, comfort, and sustainability. Every detail reflects LIVS’s commitment to creating architecture that enriches lives human and animal alike.
We are honored to have partnered with Broward County to bring this vision to life and to see the community come together to celebrate a facility that truly makes a difference.
The LIVS Office team hit it out of the park with a staff outing to watch the Miami Marlins in action! Between the cheers, the sunshine, and a few stadium snacks, it was the perfect way to celebrate teamwork beyond the office.
