MIAMI DADE PUBLIC SCHOOLS PET TRIO VETERINARY CLASSROOM Concept Design Overview Remodeling of an existing classroom into a Veterinary Services learning space, enabling high school students to earn credits toward Veterinary Assistant certification. The program provides hands on experience caring for dogs, reptiles, smaller mammals, and birds, creating a diverse and practical learning environment. The renovated facility features a classroom, operating room, prep area, dog kennels, clinic, grooming area, and storage, all designed to reflect professional veterinary standards. A dedicated air conditioning system minimizes odor transmission, while a custom sanitary system ensures clean, safe conditions for both students and animals. This project exemplifies LIVS’s commitment to designing functional, inspiring educational spaces that integrate real world skills, animal welfare, and modern classroom design.
